REBLD is managing a full-gut renovation of a former furniture store on Lincoln Ave., including major structural upgrades that retrofit the original timber frame with new steel. The finished project will feature 16 luxury rentals, a new commercial space, and below-ground parking.

REBLD is currently overseeing the massive overhaul of this former furniture store on Lincoln Ave.! This project is a “full gut” in every sense including a very heavy structural repair and upgrade, retrofitting a beautiful existing timber structure with new steel. The finished product will be 16 beautiful luxury rentals complete with a new commercial space and below-ground parking.

As part of Chicago's expanding ADU program, REBLD relocated mechanicals, created new masonry openings, and coordinated heavy excavation and structural upgrades in an occupied building to turn a dead basement into a habitable 8th unit with modern amenities.
