With close to 15 years of experience in multifamily renovations, REBLD founders Justin and Oscar wanted to invest in their own pursuit to power a more thoughtful, high-quality, and transparent approach to every project for clients that want to REBLD and REBLD better.
REBLD was founded by longtime colleagues and friends Justin Wood and Oscar Gonzalez, who first met while working on the Capex team at Pangea Real Estate — a vertically integrated firm that owned and managed thousands of multifamily units across Chicago.
At Pangea, they weren’t just renovating buildings — they were helping manage them. That meant every construction decision had real-world consequences across maintenance, tenant experience, code compliance, and long-term asset value.
Over more than a decade, Justin and Oscar led thousands of unit renovations and capital improvements, overseeing everything from building violations and compliance work to complete rehabs and learned firsthand where construction processes can fall short — especially for owners who care about long-term performance.
With REBLD, they’ve set out to do it differently. By staying fully involved across every phase of a project, the REBLD team brings a strategic, transparent, and accountable approach that goes beyond building to spec. They help clients see where to spend and where to save — and deliver budgets and processes built for real conditions, not change orders.
