A full-scale, seven-unit multifamily renovation driven by a strategic plan
REBLD walked the building and advised on the construction strategy and cost before the client made the investment. What followed was a strategic plan that aligned with leasing goals: for REBLD to deliver the first model unit by March 8. The result? All seven units rented by May 1 — at full asking price.

The Project
REBLD converted this historic three-flat near Chicago’s lakefront into seven units in less than seven months. Allowing the building to be fully-leased up prior to completion of construction. Fully-gutting the existing condition down to the brick, the team breathed new life in to this early 1900s building with custom condo-quality finishes, all new mechanicals, windows, roof, porch and an added garage roof deck. The result is a stunning upgrade to the building that continues to pay respect to its historical details by incorporating design elements like custom curved windows, original clay tile roofing, and renovation of the original portico.
